One of the most popular ways to consume astragalus root is by drinking it as a tea.
To make astragalus root tea, simply add a small piece of the dried root to a cup of hot water. You can also add a few slices of ginger or a touch of honey to enhance the flavour. Let the tea steep for 5-15 minutes, then strain out the root and enjoy. Astragalus root tea has a slightly sweet and earthy flavour, and can be enjoyed hot or iced.

This was all new to me, the herbal tea and shopping at Tea Hut. I have to say impressed in every way. The tea itself is very nice and to me tastes like peanuts which is unusual for a tea. The service from Tea Hut exceptional. Everything came packaged nicely and promptly so a plus in my books. :)
