Certified Organic Lapsang Souchong Tea - Lapsang Souchong was the first black tea made in the world, it is also known as Zheng Shan Souchong.
Lapsang Souchong is a wonderfully unique tea in that it has been dried over smoking wood to create a mesmerisingly unique and rich smoky aroma with a delicious subtle hint of a sweet fruit from China called "longan". Treat yourself to this fantastic tea today!

Flavour: Rich and smoulderingly smoky yet with great balance and a wealth of dried Longan aroma and sweetness, leaving a warm and enticing impression.

Serving suggestion: 

For the best results always use fresh, filtered water. Add 1 teaspoon per cup. Brew with boiling water for 20sec for first brew and then longer for following brews. This Lapsang Souchong can stand up to 4 brewings.

    The Nostalgia of a cup of Lapsang tea.

    I am aged 90 years, round about 1935 I was introduced to the art of taking tea by my Victorian grandmother then in her older years and still wearing crinolines.
    My aunt served Lapsang tea in the darwing room prepared with a silver tea strainer into Doulton cups. The hot water was poured through the strainer from a solid silver ornamental kettle above a meth burner. I was impressed with the aromatic bouquet of that first mouthful of tea, it was so different from the Liptons loose tea we had at home in Scotland. This memory has stayed with me all my life and I was very glad to find your Tea Hut as a good source of a variety of special tea. Thank you.     I love the unique smell and taste of this tea and Tea Hut has the best of it. I'll definitely buy again.

    Absolute bliss to drink REAL Lapsang Souchong again!
    In Europe, perverted laws have virtually wiped it off the market and my last order there had a strange taste to it.
