Seems to do what it says it will do - I like honest products like this.

An acquired taste for me but I added honey and ginger and that helped... I felt great drinking it and will keep on doing so... and I'm getting used to the taste now too :)

I love this tea. It has helped me so so much with my fight against Lyme Disease. With all the things I tried in the past for detox, this tea is the best I have ever come across. I feel better when using it

    VERY FRESH RAW ROOT

Posted by Marie Ruperez on 18th Nov 2015

Did not smell moldy, had a nice clean colour to it and brewed up well. After simmering for 20 minutes and allowing to cool for 10 minutes taste was nice and fresh. While alowing to cool I added dandelion leaf to this and just love this tea with no honey or milk added. Tea Hut provided good customer service and fast delivery once again Thank you.

    Nice and Fresh!

I mix both the root and leaf together and drink as tea which is very nice with some raw honey. The root tea showed no signs of mold and it is certified organic which is a good thing. Good Fast Service. Thanks!

    Noticeable health benefits

Posted by David T. on 26th Jan 2015

I can personally validate this tea does have noticeable health benefits. I can't prove it scientifically, however, I try putting theory into practice. And I'm getting practical results that I can reproduce on my body. I use the tongue diagnosis method in Chinese medicine (which I trust after years of use) to see visible changes on my tongue: they are healthy changes. I trust this tea on a practical level that it has prevented inflammation of my tonsils (tonsillitis (Western medicine perspective)), also known as 'excessive heating' caused by 'toxins' depositing in the body (traditional Chinese medicine perspective). This tea 'removes' the 'toxins' and therefore 'cleanses and purifies the blood' as claimed in the long list of advertised health benefits. This tea tastes bitter. (I drink it without sugar.) I mix this with another herbal tea and add a slice of lemon to reduce the bitterness. I drink this once or twice per day. I really do 'feel' a difference.
